The alarm is set on. The sailors in the ship are running towards the deck. Few sailors and officers are voluntarily guiding fellow mates to go to the deck. The fear is visible in everyone's face. The throbbing sound of the heartbeat was audible to fellow mates.
Normally these kind of movement was common during the war exercise. But here some extra amount of fear was evident.
Yes, the Navy ship was slowly loosing her balance and was getting sunk into the sea.All got mustered in the deck and they started to lower the rescue boats. Sailors started to board the rescue boat but it wasn't enough because men were large in number. So some sailors started to swim around the rescue boat along with the help of the men in the boat who where holding on to them with some ropes. Meanwhile in the captain's chamber two officers can be seen discussing. The discussion was one way. The young officer is convincing the old man. Yes, the old man is the Captain of the ship. Captain Ram. He is going to loose his lady love - the ship. The grief and pain was evident.
Finally Captain Ram breaks his silence and says - Officer, you leave the ship. I'll follow you after confirming that all our men evacucated the ship.
The young officer didn't want to leave the Captain but still had to follow his order and says " Yes sir " unwillingly.
With the help of the life jacket the officer jumps into the perilous water and starts his journey as a refugee loosing his home. After 5 mins he turns back and sees. The ship was almost submerged and the captain is not yet out of it. Soon the young officer starts to return to the ship but he was too slow. He had lost all his strength. Somehow he was approaching closer to the ship where he could notice the old man from a distance of around 100 metres.
Captain Ram holds a cigar in his right hand and puts his right leg upon the left. Adjusts his Navy cap in typical style full off arrogance and finally puts the cigar to his left side of his mouth and lights it. The captain didn't want to leave his lady love alone to get into the water, Ram wanted to accompany her. From past 20 years he was her soulmate. Even after her death he wanted to be with her.
Slowly the ship gets disappeard in the water. The young officer salutes the Captain amidst tear in his eyes.
